Really loving the jacket! I've been wearing it to practice while training some of the Kombatan Mano Mano drills, and it's holding up well. The only call out that I think is worth mentioning early while you're still getting feedback is that the fabric on the sleeves for the carbon fiber guards will wear down much quicker than the carbon fiber guards themselves if you're hitting then very often. It's an obvious risk with training and continuously hitting it with weapons, but I can see a second revision that uses some kind of second layer of reinforced fabric (like a special nylon). Triple Aught Design, for example, uses nylon overlays for high wearing points like forearms, shoulders, elbows, etc. That said, I understand going for a single streamlined fabric for the understated and clean looks.

Everything was great but the sleeves were too long. I had to return it. Such a bummer because the jacket is made so well, it fits so comfortably everywhere else. Nice amount of stretch so you know you can move freely in it. The gauntlets were awesome. All those pockets would come in handy. If there was a way to adjust the sleeve length for those of us with T-rex short arms, then this would be an awesome jacket. If there's an upgraded change to this, I'd be down to try it again. But yeah the craftsmanship on this is for real.

Love the coat and the feel. A little surprised of the red lining but does go very well with the style. I will say that I actually should have went with the 2XL with it being so roomy but that is okay. Sleeves are a little longer then I would have liked or it would have been nice to have some sort of elastic around the wrist to keep it from hanging to low. Either way cant wait to wear this in the evening to show it off. I really think you should make a special edition leather version of this coat because I would love to have that as well. Even some pants/bottoms to compliment the jacket. Keep up the great work.

It took a while but the jacket finally came in. It was a gift for a good friend of mine who trains MMA fighters so this was a great gift for him. I was there when he tried it on and it fit him perfectly! Well packaged and overall great product! I waited like a kid a Christmas Morning for this Jacket… The day it came I was elated until I opened the box…. then I read the Thank You paper inside the plastic. Then I read the care and instructions “HAND WASH” Only! Felt like a spinning side kick to the liver! never even opened the plastic to try on or check it out. I wanted a jacket for daily wear or casual wear in higher threat environments wear guns and knives are not permitted. I dont wanna hand wash the thing and worry about stretching it out every week or two depending on weather and amount of wear. Totally disappointed for price. I expected higher expectations sorry Budo Brothers.

I like the overall jacket, I got it size smaller and it fits like a bomber jacket which was the look I was going for. The only thing I wish was that the forearm inserts were bigger and that it had a zipper with the buttons.

I was pleasantly surprised by how quickly the jacket arrived, especially considering it was shipped from another continent. The delivery was smooth and fast. As for the product itself, it’s very comfortable to wear and feels well-made. The lining is quite warm, which makes it perfect for cooler seasons. However, this also means it might be too hot to wear during summer, especially in warmer climates. Overall, I’m very happy with the purchase and would definitely recommend it for spring, fall, and mild winter days.

Overall it is a cool design and very comfy. It fits pretty great, which is often not the case. My only grumble is that the sleeves are a but too long, but that is because my arms are short. I still am very happy with the purchase and offer nothing more than praise for what this company comes out with. After owning one each of the color for the hood-gi amd the fantastic BLOKR coat, I will never doubt these products. On a side note, the customer service was also very responsive and had answers for all my questions. Jeep up the ganrastic work!

Great Product Erik has helped customer service top notch materials used zippers stiching ect all very important !! The key chain is " tougher" than my "no name" high tensile strength one I've previously had for years budo brothers gets a 9 put of 10 for this jacket at its price point ( I like baggy stuff simple cloth velcro placed In the sleeves keep my carbon fiber exactly where I want it !! Sleeves extra long on purpose to grab and I'm able to manipulate ALL my tools no problem also like to button it up 3rd and 3th button from the bottom leaving the bottom open to grab a "tool" and perfect amount of room to grab my keys and let go they retract right out of sight) fire Product 100% going to get the "upgraded" version as the evolve in the future

Great jacket. Very warm looser fit than the hood gi. Has a clean stiff look like leather but it is a fabric jacket and is not stiff at all - like a hoodie. The arm shields work very well - will be good for closing distance. Lots of pockets and no bulges. Arrives very nice - a very premium experience when received. It's not cheap but it doesn't feel cheap either. I'm really happy with this I have to attend lots of events and have to look nice but have to be ready for action so was waiting for this for some time and the hype didn't disappoint - actually I was happier because there where more pockets than I was expecting. Complaint - the arms are too long. I fold them in at the sleeve; looks great but have to do it every time I put it on - going to pin it. I love the BB stuff as a lover of martial arts, they are very innovative and they do a great job. I am looking forward to what they come up with next. (A cool product would be a nice looking hat like the Gi hat but has some head protection especially in the back?)

Wore this jacket twice for a whole day and its my new everyday jacket. Comfortable, soft, not too cold and not too hot. It has pockets for all your stuff and then some. I love the fact it came with extras. I found pictures don't do this jacket justice as it's much cooler in person. Practical and fashionable with a whole lot of tactical.

I was excited to get this jacket, but a bit trepidations. The material is soft, comfortable and warm for those cold weather. It doesn't restrict your movements so it is great for training. It's also a great jacket as casual wear. Of course, please follow the law regarding about using the bracers and the retractable cord, especially with the Kobo.
