I'm 5 nothing, 133 lbs, and I got the medium. It fits very comfortably, both open and loose or buttoned up. The pockets are perfect. I carry a 3 inch kunai and it fits absolutely perfect in the small side pockets. My phone fits perfect in the phone pocket. And I absolutely love the reinforced shruriken pocket. It's awesome! The lining is so smooth and comfortable. If this were just a regular jacket it would be perfect, but the hooded gi design just makes it top notch. Form meets function without sacrificing style. Honestly, it's under priced. Its quality is phenomenal. Highly HIGHLY recommend this purchase to anyone on the fence. I would tell anyone "Buy it, you will not regret it."

Really love my hoodgi, very comfortable and warm. I wish there was a half size in between XL and XXL because the XXL was too big for me but the XL is a tad snug. Not so tight that it impedes my movement, but ultimately it does feel like it’s a big jump from XL to XXL. One thing I absolutely have to rave about is the customer service. Mine was a Christmas gift from my partner, and like I said I had to exchange it for the next size down. Budo Bros let me exchange it myself so i didn't have to create any extra hassle for my partner, they covered the cost of returning the XXL and shipped out the XL replacement very quickly! Definitely will treasure my hoodgi for as long as it lasts, and it feels like it'll last quite a while! I don't really love the nylon material around the shoulders and wish it was all made out of the same keikogi material, but it’s probably a water repellant feature or something.

Great quality, well made and true to size. Was a hit as a present. The only fault is that the bandana that was sent with the Hood-Gi was fraying even before we took it out of the packaging. Otherwise no complaints.
