Absolutely beautiful craftsmanship. Phenomenal piece of equipment. And Erik went WAY above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of and fully satisfied. These guys are amazing and their gear is top quality.
It has been a great tool to train and carry for self defense!
Not bad, well-made not heavy Functional
Bought this for a friend and he loved it.
Budo makes nice looking stuff that works. The, whatchamacallit, kubaton, is elegant to the eye. It's also a primal tool. I bought one for my lady and one for myself. An easily handled rigid ... wand, let's say, in the eyes or across the knuckles will buy time. Any way to stop the bad guy's flow and maybe take sente is a good thing. Me? 73 year old stroke survivor, not Chuck Norris! But, you know, "When strong, appear weak." My half pound bronze mala and this puppy ought to buy this weak looking guy some time.
An easy transaction, with fast shipping accompanied by a tracking number. Received my Alloy Kobo well packaged. The Kobo itself is solid, feels well balanced in hand, and looks aesthetically stunning. Looking forward to purchasing other Budo products. A well pleased customer.
It feels nice in my hands, craftsmanship is superb. Regards, CJ Houck
Need and tidy!
It showed up beautifully packaged. I am impressed with the feel of it. It's also much lighter than I imagined it would feel. Which was a great surprise. I'm looking forward to training with it. Thank you.
Bought on some time before and it's quite the find. Not the least bit disappointed. Thank you.
Your product is terrific!!! Very well made. This yawara stick is very special and made with pride. Quality product all the way.
Picked up this larger kubaton from and I’m loving the size and weight. Large enough to draw quickly and easily from the pocket and strike with either end. Light enough to carry but with enough heft to do real damage. Beautiful craftsmanship, really digging it.
In addition to martial arts, i do like collecting. So I am very happy with my three kubos. I love the weight of the brass for practising flow and the wood for practicing hammers, punches and slash strikes w a partner. The allow one is a great in between kubo though - similar weight to the wood, same chiseled geometry as the brass. Great job guys.
I often find myself practicing escrima drills with a makeshift kali stick from a chair leg and my kobo as well for close quarter defense when I’m indoors and keep my bokken and nunchaku when I’m outdoors with more space.
you should sponsor @pouncing_sensei for repping you all over nyc
Shout out to @budobrothers for this beautiful Japanese Kobo as an addition to my EDC Collection. I had to build a concept holster for this masterpiece.
Lovely present arrived today.
