I use a wheelchair most of the time, and the wrap around closure of this jacket is ideal for keeping it away from the wheels. The fit is roomy enough to push a chair while walking a dog, so you should all be fine training in it. It is a handsome piece, extra nice material inside and out. I may not be who this was meant for, but it is great.

the 2XL was a bit tight in the chest and shoulder, the 3XL is a much better fit, sleeves are long enough to turn back, showing the lining. i am hoping to see the return of the phenolic sticks. better yet a phenolic bo, 1-1/8 or so, the stick bags are awesome. even if the business model doesn't support bo sales, there would be a long line for a bo bag.

Fantastic and rather unique jacket with very innovative magnet snap closures and well-placed pockets. Wouldn't mind if you produced another iteration that just had the old gi ties. Maybe even consider a sleeve-less version with some lining around the shoulders, collar and hems of the jacket. The lining is silky smooth and very comfortable as well. Great product!

I almost want to give everyone MORE photos... because this thing is just FANTASTIC. It is a truly exception hoodie and immediately became one is my favorite items of clothing. I've been very pleased... for over a month, now (I think?), ever since it arrived! It is comfortable... temperature balanced for all but extremes of weather. Functional! I can train in this... and have... when occasion has arisen. The SHURIKEN/pen pockets inside could be a scosh deeper.... my preferred style are a traditional one that is a bit longer than your typical 'dime-store' variety... but even at that... the pocket conceals and carries them comfortably without impeding access... so that's a win! The construction of this thing is TOP-notch... the sleeves when folded to 'crowd'...or 'gather' just a bit at the seam- but it only negligibly breaks the otherwise nice, square, flatness of the fold (as seen in the image). ... but I Tom that only happened after my daughter inadvertently the it in the dryer on slightly too high a temp... couple washes later it has become less noticeable. So - if you're getting one of these (and why wouldn't you?) - do follow the wash instructions. The classic velcro - though of good quality and well installed - is a little bit of a nuisance. The hem with the velcro can occasionally catch on things in my left pocket. So if you could let the profile of the velcro backing it would help with the bigger issue here. (Or if my pocket clips were tighter maybe?) That's the one enhancement I would recommend.... there are better 'velcro-like' fasteners out there now. I discovered this when we were changing to multi-cams in the Service. So, it's not a problem of the design or execution of this garment... just a typical problem with velcro. Other than that, there are no 'hotspots' or places in which the seams or lining become irritating. Whoever is pouring these things together knows what they're doing and the material selection is on POINT. Fit was as expected... maybe a bit snug if you're layering up too much under it. I may be getting a size larger for winter (because I DO layer up...a LOT.) I typically wear a t-shirt, vest, and button down... and a medium accommodates all this without restricting movement. (6' 155 - 165 lbs/~72~ kg) The magnetic button are outSTANDing! And sometimes even snap into place on their own. Excellent! I like the paneled approach to the hood construction... makes the hood hold shape and keeps peripheral vision mostly clear... important for situational awareness. Finally.... this thing is SIERRA HOTEL SEXY! I'm a firm believe man makes the clothes - the clothes NEVER made the man.... but this garment compliments this particular man impeccably. Great work!

This is a super cool concept; however the design and execution is lacking. The front flap does not line up over the middle making putting your hands in the hoody pocket a bit awkward and offset to the left. The magnetic snap buttons are cool, but not that easy to attach.

The hooded gi is exceptional quality. Heavier than a standard gi, it can be used as a light jacket, but is thin enough to roll or push up the sleeves if you get too warm. Material is excellent and stiching is high quality and strong. Fit is perfect, I'm 5'9" 130 lbs and bought the small as I like thighter fits. Pockets are everywhere and perfect size for phone, folding knives, throwing knives, etc. making this a very verstile piece of clothing. I will definitely be buying more items in the future!

So love the design, and love the feel of it, but there's only one issue. I'm a bit too fat. It was something I worried about when the website said "Fitted design" which usually means made for the average person. I think once i lose some weigh, ill actually be able to close all the buttons, but in the meantime, 2 buttons will be enough. :)

Fantastic hoodie ! Hot enough for a chilly day and pretty stylish with just the right number of pockets. I just used it for the first time as I had to teach Jeet Kune Do and it was a perfect fit, you still have all your mobility while having a sturdy material and the magnetic clasps will not hurt you opponent during light sparring. I picked my usual size it's a great fit. I highly recommend it !

First this is made so so well, from the material to the stitching. It is a heavy textile and is still soft and comfortable. I wore it for the first time on a windy day and it blocks the wind.
